Cheyenne Oxendine is a member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. She is a 2024 graduate from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a concentration in Picture Editing and Sound Design. Her classes have given her the knowledge she needs to be a well-rounded and collaborative filmmaker as well as experience working with a crew.
Cheyenne will serve as the Director of the 2025 Lumbee Film Festival and has been a volunteer for the Lumbee Warriors Association, the Museum of the Southeast Indian, the Lumbee Tribe, and Cucalorus Film Foundation.
In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her dog.
